The
Aftermath Customs Back-story:
In early September of 2002 Aftermath Customs was born. Five friends
were members of a car club in Somerset, KY with several other friends
and acquaintances. Unfortunately friends can't always see eye to eye
and agree on everything and much too often friendships are broken. Doe
to some uncontrollable circumstances, these five members left their
old club and friends to journey into the unknown.
By realizing how they had stuck together, had one another's back, agreed
on the situation, and kept their word they realized something. "We
have what it takes to be a very serious and prominate club." After
a few weeks of discussion and brain storming the group chose to call
themselves, Aftermath Customs.
The one elected to be the president of Aftermath Customs then wrote
up the club by-laws, membership applications, and started working on
a logo design. With the help of a local sign and graphic business (Dynamic
Signs) we designed an Aftermath Customs Logo. But, we also pick
up a "co-founder" to our club, along with the president's
younger brother. Before Aftermath's first meeting we had seven members,
and we continue to grow. After about a month and a half we have 10 members
and four petitioning.
Aftermath Customs would like to give our best wishes to other local
clubs: Lower Expectations and Bonzai Cruisers, along with clubs around
our area, state, country, and the entire world. I would also like to
personally thank Zone-Next Level, Dynamic Signs Inc, Brian Clothler,
Vince and Dottie Durham, and Shawn Dobbs. Thanks,
Casey Durham, President |
